Free iBeer

Free iBeer is free to use, for fun. It needs no account and stores nothing about you on our server: your drinks, settings and photos stay on your own device. iBeer contains no beer: no calories, no hangover.

Branded iBeer

• It’s a rental, not a subscription. You pay once for a set length: Event (72 hours), Campaign (30 days), Venue (one year) or Lifetime. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again. When the time is up, it simply ends.
• Lifetime means for as long as ibeer.org operates.
• Prices are shown before you pay, in euros, adjusted to your country. Payment is handled by Stripe.
• Your address (ibeer.org/yourname) is yours while your iBeer runs and for 30 days after it ends, so you can add time. After that, someone else can book it.
• You can change the date in your admin until your iBeer goes live.
• Refunds: changed your mind before your iBeer goes live? Write to us for a full refund. Once it’s live, there are no refunds, but you can always add time.
• Unlimited guests are included. We meter time, never people.

Your logo, your pictures, your words

• Only upload logos, photos and text you own or have permission to use. You’re responsible for them.
• Nothing illegal, hateful, sexual, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• We may take down any iBeer that breaks these rules, or when a rights holder rightly complains. A takedown for breaking the rules is not refunded.
• Your iBeer is always called iBeer and carries the iBeer icon; your name appears as “Specially made for …”.

What we store, and why

• Your branded iBeer: its address, dates and everything you design in the admin, so guests can see it.
• Your email, from checkout: for one reminder before your iBeer ends, and to send a sign-in link if you ever lose every way in. Nothing else, no newsletters.
• Invoice details, if you add them: to put them on your invoices.
• Signing in: one cookie on each device you sign in with, plus the device type and the date, so you can see and sign out your devices. It’s needed for the admin to work; there are no tracking or advertising cookies.
• Visits and pours: two anonymous numbers per branded iBeer, shown to its owner. Nothing about the guests themselves.
• Payments: Stripe processes your card. We keep a record of the purchase (what, when, how much) for invoices and accounting.
• Your country is read once at checkout to show the right price. We don’t store IP addresses; our web host keeps standard server logs for security.
• The text-logo maker in the admin loads its fonts from Google Fonts.

How long we keep it

Pictures are deleted 90 days after your iBeer ends. Purchase records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Want your account and everything in it deleted sooner? Write to hello@magic.pm from the email you used at checkout. You can also ask what we hold about you, or have it corrected.

The fine print

• We work hard to keep ibeer.org running, but we can’t promise it’s never down, or that every feature works on every device and browser.
• If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid for that iBeer, as far as the law allows.
• We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes never shorten time you’ve already paid for.
• Swiss law applies. If you’re a consumer, the protections of the country you live in still apply to you.
